# Privacy policy

_Effective October 9, 2026._ This policy explains what information 17x7.com and api.17x7.com handle and why. The short version: the calculators run in your browser, we do not have accounts, and we do not use tracking cookies.

## Calculator inputs

Numbers you type into a calculator on this website are processed by JavaScript in your browser; typing does not send them anywhere. To make results easy to bookmark and share, a calculator keeps its current inputs in the page address, after the "?" (large pasted text in the developer tools, such as JSON, YAML or a robots.txt file, is left out). That address only leaves your device when you reload the page, open a bookmark or share the link: then the inputs travel with it, as part of the request your browser makes to 17x7.com, and anyone you send the link to can see them. "Copy link to these numbers" copies exactly that address.

## Analytics

Visits are tallied with Cloudflare Web Analytics so we can tell which calculators people actually use. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you to other websites. What reaches us is totals only: which pages were opened, where visitors came from, their country and their browser family.

## Server logs

Cloudflare, which hosts 17x7, necessarily sees the technical details that come with every web request — IP address, user agent and the address asked for — in order to serve pages and block abuse. For the API and MCP endpoints, a sample of requests may be logged for debugging and rate limiting; these logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to build profiles. The request body of an API call is not stored.

## Embedded widgets

When a calculator is embedded on another website, it is loaded from 17x7.com inside a frame. The same rules apply: inputs stay in the visitor's browser and no cookies are set. The site that embeds the widget has its own privacy policy.

## Advertising

There is no advertising on 17x7 right now. Should that change, this page will be revised before the first ad appears, naming the ad partners, the cookies they rely on and how to refuse them. Where local law requires permission, you will be asked before any advertising cookie is placed.

## Email

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to any list.

## Children

17x7 is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13\. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

## Your choices and rights

Because we do not run accounts or tracking, there is usually nothing about you to access or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have a question about your rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, contact [hello@17x7.com](mailto:hello@17x7.com).

## Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
